Access to any GAACS Application Module is determined by a 'log in' requiring a password. Each user logging into a Module is assigned access to one or more FUNCTIONS, together with a security level for each. The security level manages which procedures the user can access . An Application Module supports a System Type.
Supports an Agent involved in the handling of PoGs.
Supports a Customs Broker clearing PoGs through the Bahamas Single Entry Customs system.
Supports a Consignee (Purchaser) and PoGs they initiate.
To be owned and managed by Bahamas Customs, the CUSTOMS system type is used as a 'front end' to their Single Entry System (BESW). Having access to each GAACS Database supporting a Supply Chain, provides them with better control of inspections.
